KnowMe Systems, Inc.: New York, NY
As an Interaction Designer at KnowMe—a video creation iOS app—my position involved rapid prototyping and wireframing, creating userflows, research, designing the user interface and web assets. I conducted user testing, and adjusted the product accordingly to meet user and stakeholder needs. My day-to-day involved collaborating with our engineers to design the company’s mobile application as well as the website. I was responsible for the update and implementation of KnowMe branding and visual assets.

Developed and maintained organization’s branding identity. Created and executed design projects for Lambda Legal that supported the educational, marketing and development needs of the organization, including: Annual reports, fundraising materials, direct mailings, web ads, publications, postcards, posters, decals, t-shirts and other promotional material. Communicated directly with vendors, outside photographers, designers and writers. Managed freelance designers and interns.

Produced fliers, reports, and posters for public distribution. Acted as liaison to printing house during production of public material. Implemented MADRE’s “Helping Hands” campaign and “Harvesting Hope” program, providing school supplies to children, as well as organic fruit and vegetable seeds to Indigenous female farmers in Latin America. Recruited and trained volunteers.
